CT Power Soccer Program
Our nonprofit's inaugural project focuses on establishing power soccer in Connecticut. We are in the process of creating the state's very first team, which will provide greater access to the sport for more individuals. With the support of USPSA, we've hosted multiple clinics and are excited to organize more in the near future! Ahead to 2026, our aim is to launch the state's first competitive team this Fall with the help of our community.

What is Power Soccer?
Power soccer is the first team sport ever developed specifically for wheelchair users. It is played 4v4 on a basketbabll court using specially designed chairs called a "strikeforce" to maneuver the ball.

Inspiration behind the program
Founder and CEO, Dana Parrott has been playing power soccer competitively for the past seven years. Due to the lack of power soccer presence in Connecticut, she drives four hours (one way!) to practice with her current team, CNY United.

After being inspired through participation in U.S. Soccer ADAPT and THRIVE Leadership Program in partnership with Integrated Dreams, Made for More was created with a mission to help more individuals get involved in the sport, and spread the message that everyone is made for more. By strategically devloping sustainable power soccer programs in Connecticut and beyond, our team at Made for More are confident that we will be successful.

This is our goal:
Create Connecticut's first Power Soccer team that will play in competitive tournaments in the Northeast, and eventually compete at the national level, where athletes can experience all the incredible parts of this game and unlock their greatest potential.
